VT Parking Services is Heartless

I graduate tomorrow, and I’m probably one of 10 seniors (maybe more….but there are very few of us) who still live on campus with a car. And despite everyone gone, I must park 15 minutes away from the dorms.

It’s Been a While…

Yeah, it’s been a while since I’ve really written anything. So I’m going to make a list, because lists are easy (and I’m procrastinating on my server programming assignment because the gcc compiler yelled at my code….)

So here are the books I currently have on my Kindle. A good portion of them Amazon provided for free…

  • Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland — Lewis Carroll
  • The Art of War — Sunzi
  • At Home: A Short History of Private Life — Bill Bryson
  • A Christmas Carol — Charles Dickens
  • The Count of Monte Cristo — Alexandre Dumas
  • Crazy Love — Francis Chan
  • Crime and Punishment — Fyodor Dostoyevsky
  • Dear Coca-Cola — Terry Ravenscroft
  • Democracy in America (Volumes I and II) — Alexis de Tocqueville
  • The Federalist Papers — Alexander Hamilton, John Jay
  • A Game of Thrones — George R.R. Martin
  • The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo — Stieg Larsson
  • The Girl Who Played with Fire — Stieg Larsson
  • The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest — Stieg Larsson
  • Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone — J.K. Rowling
  • Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets — J.K. Rowling
  • Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban — J.K. Rowling
  • Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire — J.K. Rowling
  • Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix — J.K. Rowling
  • Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince — J.K. Rowling
  • Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — J.K. Rowling
  • H.P. Lovecraft the Complete Works — H.P. Lovecraft
  • The Hunger Games — Suzanne Collins
  • Catching Fire — Suzanne Collins
  • Mockingjay — Suzanne Collins
  • Mere Christianity — C.S. Lewis
  • Oliver Twist — Charles Dickens
  • The Playbook — Barney Stinson and Matt Kuhn (idk why I own this, but it’s funny)
  • Pride and Prejudice — Jane Austen
  • Rainbow Six — Tom Clancy
  • Sense and Sensibility — Jane Austen
  • Steve Jobs — Walter Isaacson
  • A Tale of Two Cities — Charles Dickens
  • Through the Looking Glass — Lewis Carroll
  • What Zombies Fear — Kirk Allmond
  • World War Z: An Oral History — Max Brooks

I still have lots to read, but I’m currently in the Harry Potter phase again…currently on Goblet of Fire.

Edit: After I put up this post, I picked up 4 new free books from Amazon.

Edit 2: Five free books
